Case Report: Here we report the case of a 50-year-old female with histologically-confirmed gastric cancer metastasis to the breast who was adequately treated with loco-regional hyperthermia plus standard second-line chemotherapy (paclitaxel plus ramucirumab). The best response achieved was a relatively long disease stabilization. Conclusion: Chemotherapy plus regional hyperthermia has been shown to have a synergistic antitumor effect and possible favorable immunomodulatory effects. Such an approach merits further investigation especially for the treatment of rare superficial metastatic sites. ER -
