However, after decreasing the dose of GC because of gastrointestinal bleeding caused by the high-dose treatment, there was no response on restarting GC plus LAK cell therapy. The clinical course of this case strongly suggests that local inflammation in the vicinity of tumors should be adequately suppressed in patients with advanced cancer who receive immunotherapy.
