Preface

CUKC 2017 was jointly held by Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University, Peking University, Cardiff University and the Royal Society of Medicine at the China National Convention Center, Beijing, China on the 22^nd and 23^rd April, 2017 and with Yantai Yu Huang Ding Hospital in YanTai Wanda Conventional Centre, YanTai, China on the 27^th and 28^th April, 2017. The conference aimed to build on the previous successful CUKC conferences providing an opportunity for researchers, scholars and clinicians within the field of cancer to communicate, exchange and share knowledge to promote advancements in this area. CUKC supports and further strengthens the collaborations between China and the UK who recognise the need and benefit of Fighting Cancer Together.
