    Kaplan–Meier survival curves of progression-free (A) and overall (B) survival according to serum cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA 21-1) level. The median PFS in patients with high and normal serum CYFRA 21-1 levels was 127 days [95% confidence interval (CI)=103-152 days] and 191 days (95% CI=103-349 days), respectively (p=0.046). The median OS in patients with high and normal levels of CYFRA 21-1 was 360 days (95% CI=299-425 days) and 781 days (95% CI=457-1038 days), respectively (p<0.001).
