Assessment of Risk of Late Rectal Bleeding for Patients with Prostate Cancer Started on Anticoagulation Before or After Radiation Treatment

Rate of freedom from rectal bleeding and number of men at risk treated with external beam radiation for prostate cancer based on their use and timing of anticoagulation. The use of clopidogrel (Clop) or warfarin (Warf) during radiation therapy was associated with significantly higher bleeding risk (p=0.001) compared to the rest of the men.
